MoolGyan

VidyaGyan is an initiative, which was founded as a leadership academy for deserving and marginalized students from rural India with the aim of bridging urban-rural divide.

I, was part of this MoolGyan project that brought together interested and motivated students from Shiv Nadar Institute of Eminence and the school students from VidyaGyan. We visited to the VidyaGyan school to meet their students and the people. We formed groups and worked on this exciting booklet on nutrition, agriculture and science.

We, the college students helped the VidyaGyan school students to dissect research articles and papers. They helped us in translating the information to their mother tongue, so that the information can reach to the farmers and the villagers. It was a highly collaborative project where I was able to learn the skill of teaching science and the joy of it, to be around kids interested in their village, agriculture and science.
