The aim of the project is to generate stable HEV-integrated hepatic cell lines that will be used to isolate the efficient replicative form of HEV, as like other hepatitis viruses, HEV is also difficult to proliferate in standard cell lines.

I was introduced to aseptic techniques, cell culture techniques and basic molecular biology techniques. I had the opportunity to present my data in the 10th OUR Conference titled "Integration of the HEV genome in Huh7 hepatoma cells using CRISPR-Cas9 genome engineering".
